Opt for this training, and in 7 weeks, you will engage in acquiring knowledge, cognitive skills, and behavioral skills. This will enable you to collaborate optimally in an international team. If you choose a 4 or 8-hour workshop, the focus will primarily be on knowledge development and cognitive skills.
Knowledge Development:
The first step in our training is gaining theoretical knowledge. In this course, you will learn what culture precisely entails and to what extent your actions are influenced by your background. Additionally, you will recognize and understand different communication styles. Why does one person communicate directly, while another uses a more indirect approach?
Cognitive Skills:
After learning about the various communication styles and how to recognize them, you will put your knowledge into practice. How do you use communication to convey your message effectively? How do you adapt your communication style to the cultural setting? And how can you leverage different communication styles without losing sight of your own identity?
Behavioral Skills:
The final step is to apply what you’ve learned in practice. Completing the entire training will equip you to effectively employ various communication styles, enabling you to build positive cross-cultural relationships.
Cultural Profiler: Discover Your Personal Cultural Profile
All our culture training programs begin with the Cultural Profiler. A questionnaire is used to create your cultural profile, which you can then compare with the average cultural profiles of different countries. This tool provides insight into the differences you might encounter in a multicultural work environment.
Workshop: Collaborating in an International Team
Are you working in a diverse, international, or intercultural team? Enhance teamwork with a workshop on intercultural collaboration. It’s ideal as a team-building activity with lasting impact.
Using a questionnaire, a personal cultural profile is created for each participant. What differences are immediately visible within your team? Where is collaboration effective? Is there ever miscommunication? This workshop fosters greater mutual understanding and is filled with “aha moments.”
