Training “How to collaborate in an international team?”

Are you aware of how culture influences communication styles? This course will help you recognise the influence of culture and effectively adapt your own communication as needed.

The influence of culture on communication

People from different cultural backgrounds may have different frames of reference. Sometimes this is obvious in the workplace: they behave in an ”unfamiliar” way (to you). Often it is less obvious: emotions are expressed differently, or not at all, information is processed in unexpected ways and feedback is misinterpreted.

This intercultural communication course focuses on the influence of culture on communication. You will learn to recognise and interpret various communication styles related to culture. This will enable you to read and understand your conversation partners better. You will also learn how to adjust your own communication, so that you can build and maintain relationships more effectively and more successfully. In short: this training will help you work more effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds.

This course is interactive and highly practical. We encourage you to put everything you learn in the online course directly into practice on the work floor.
