Veelgestelde vragen

Wat is het STAP-budget?

The STAP budget is a subsidy from the Dutch government. Any European citizen, living in the Netherlands, can use this subsidy for a training or course with which you further develop yourself and strengthen your position in the labour market. Each participant is allotted a maximum of € 1000. Translated, STAP stands for Stimulus Labour Market Position, and replaces the tax training allowance. In the coming years, a budget of € 218 million will be available for approximately 300,000 people.

Wanneer kan ik de subsidie aanvragen?

There are five time-frames for registering. Each registration period is allocated a certain amount of the overall € 218 million STAP budget and is open for two months at a time, or until the budget is allocated. On each starting date, the registrations open at 10:00 am.

These periods are:

March 1st - April 30th
May 1st to June 30th
July 1st to August 31
September 1st to October 31st
November 1st to December 31st

Wat gebeurt er als ik de cursus toch niet kan volgen?

An attendance of 80% is required to receive the STAP subsidy. If this is not possible, please unsubscribe from the training. Our general terms and conditions apply to cancellation. If you are unable to meet this requirement, contact the UWV (Employee Insurance Agency) as soon as possible so that they can cancel the subsidy.

Wat als ik wil starten op een andere datum dan aangegeven bij de open trainingen?

If there are enough registrations, we will add additional start dates. You can therefore indicate your preferred start date on the registration form. Are you unable to participate in the open training? Then you can choose to follow an individual crash course. We plan these with you to suit your schedule.

Wanneer kan ik starten met een crash course?

Our crash courses are individual training sessions scheduled at a time that suits you. As soon as the subsidy has been approved by the UWV, we will contact you to start planning. You can start your crash course up to three months after the application period has closed.

Hoe verloopt de facturatie?

We invoice the UWV (Employee Insurance Agency) and receive the payment directly from them. Because of this and the fact that our STAP offerings are fully covered by the subsidy, you will not have any costs.

Hoe zit het met btw voor STAP-trainingen?

The STAP budget is aimed at private individuals. That is why we can offer a price without VAT for STAP registrations.
