Training “How to become more culturally aware?”
Do you regularly communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds in your work? This course will help you communicate more effectively by developing awareness and practical skills.
People with different cultural backgrounds have different frames of reference. Sometimes this is immediately obvious, for example in unfamiliar behaviour. Yet it is often less obvious: for example, emotions are expressed differently or feedback is misinterpreted.
In this course you will work on developing cultural (self-)awareness, recognising culturally different behaviour and adjusting your own response to it. This will help you avoid misunderstandings and develop an open mindset, ensuring that culturally challenging situations no longer distract you from your work.
This course is interactive and highly practical. We encourage you to put everything you learn in the online course directly into practice on the work floor.
The result? You will notice that after 6 weeks you actively deal with intercultural challenges in a different way. You will be aware of the influence of culture on communication, and you will work more effectively with people from different backgrounds.
