Hi Agnieszka, nice that you attended our “Working with the Polish” workshop! How would you describe the overall experience?
The training was enlightening with the content spot on. Magdalena, the trainer, is a very skilled teacher, and her knowledge sharing was as practical as expected, yet supported with the base theory to the sufficient extent. It enhanced our understanding of the Polish culture, giving the valuable insights on cultural aspects to consider in every situation. The trainer facilitated plenty good discussions and managed our group’s energy well throughout the whole day. Thanks to that the atmosphere in the room was positive, with everyone actively participating, creating a conducive learning environment.
What were the most important insights you gained during the workshop?
Our team faced the challenge of building multicultural relationships between the delivery team located in the Netherlands and potential Polish partners. The trainer showed us basic cultural concepts by providing customized theory, complemented by well-fitted exercises. The in-depth explanations sparked eye-opening discussions which helped our group to gain meaningful insights on how to close the multicultural gap.
How do you think these insights will contribute to your role as Project Developer at Protix?
Having received the training, I am convinced to be well prepared for building cross-border relationships, having awareness of possible misunderstanding areas and knowing approaches on resolving these.
